Rental Terms

1. Driver’s License:

  • A valid driving license issued in Greece or any European Union (E.U.) country is required.
  • The license must have been issued at least one year prior to the rental start date.
  • Non-E.U. citizens need a license valid in both Greece and the European Union or an international driver’s license.

2. Traffic Violations and Fines:

  • The Renter is responsible for any traffic tickets and fines resulting from violations of the Highway Code during the rental.
  • The Renter covers management costs associated with traffic violations.

3. Means of Payment:

  • A credit card, debit card, or cash must be provided as a guarantee for the rental, even for cash payments.
  • The rental fee is prepaid.

4. Rental Period:

  • The rental period is specified at the beginning of the agreement.
  • Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges.

5. Insurance:

  • Basic insurance is included in the rental fee.
  • Additional insurance options are available for extra coverage.
  • The Renter is responsible for damages up to a specified deductible.

6. Fuel Policy:

  • The vehicle is provided with a full tank.
  • The Renter returns the vehicle with a full tank; otherwise, refueling charges apply.

7. Age Requirements:

  • The minimum age for renting is typically 21 years.
  • Young driver surcharges may apply for renters under 25.

8. Vehicle Return:

  • The vehicle must be returned on time to the specified location.
  • Late returns may incur additional charges.

9. Maintenance and Repairs:

  • The Renter is responsible for regular maintenance during the rental.
  • Repairs necessitated by negligence or misuse are at the Renter’s expense.

10. Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation policies vary, with potential fees for cancellations close to the rental date.
  • Refunds are subject to the terms outlined in the agreement.

11. Cross-Border Travel:

  • Travel restrictions and additional fees may apply for cross-border travel.
  • Prior authorization is required for such travel.

12. Vehicle Category:

  • Specific vehicle models are subject to availability.
  • Reservations are confirmed based on the selected category.

13. Additional Drivers:

  • Additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement for a fee.
  • All drivers must meet the age and license requirements.

14. Child Seats and Extras:

  • Child seats and other extras are available for an additional charge.
  • Reservations are recommended for these items.

15. Force Majeure:

  • The rental company is not liable for delays or non-performance due to unforeseen circumstances.
